Hi Denis,

Saw your post in this thread asking about the Rupes polishes, wasn't sure why it was in this thread and it actually deserves it's own thread so I made one for you here,

Is this Rupes a compound or a polish? (http://www.autogeekonline.net/forum/ask-expert-featuring-mike-phillips/82413-rupes-compound-polish.html)

I answered your question in the thread and just to note, this is the second time this question came up this week.

Soooo pretty!

A car from my 'youth'.

Is that a repaint or factory...the color looks right on the money.

That color is called "Larkspur blue".It was a factory color. They had three art deco inspired colors...this one , Dessert Rose (pink) and Tropical Turquoise. (My color.)My color works well since I`m in the sub tropics. In the mid west perhaps not so much but I dont know.

I could have gone all day without thinking about, "Desert Rose"...LOL.

The 'blues' always really looked good to me.

Dated a girl in HS, she would borrow her dad's car (I was w/o car in those days-no $), sucker was a Desert Rose 4 door post! Now, that was one ugly car.
