Lexus IS300 Finally coated my DD

[HUMP DIESEL]

So I had a break in my schedule, from vacation and a weekend at the lake with the family, so I decided that last week I would concentrate on my daily drive and get it corrected and coated. I decided for this application that I would do a full correction, focusing on really pulling as much shine and gloss out of a white car that I could.

Here was my go to:
Rupes 15 with Megs MF cutting disc
Menzerna FG400
-Still cannot say enough about this compound.
Rupes 15 with Uber Green polishing pad
Sonax 4/6 Perfect finish
-Really pulled the gloss out with this one. A wonderful product.
Rupes 15 with White Rupes Pad
Menzerna SF4500
-Jewel it out, just for more gloss effect. In reality, I could have just gone with the Sonax, but I wanted to hit the roof, hood and trunk to get maximum clarity.
Wipe down with CarPro Eraser
First coating was GTechniq C1 Lacquer
I applied it Saturday morning, then my parents and my wife came to pick me up for the local market run.
Went back that afternoon, took my wife and her NOOK with me to do a top coat of ExoV2. Waited about 30 minutes and then did a second coat to the horizontal surfaces.
Finished up the next morning with Tuff Shine on the tires.

Zach, I love it too, and they are getting more and more rare and harder to find with low mileage. Mine has over 200K on it now.

Dr Pain, I know, with doing other vehicles, it sometimes only gets the maintenance wash, but now it is fully protected....but my wife says she understands the analogy of the cobbler's wife wearing ratty shoes, since her car really needs some help.
