This is my first time doing someone elses car. Until today I only ever did my wifes TL and my Legacy GT. Both turned out great but neither of our cars were as bad as this. I did this for one of my friends. We agreed that I'd do a one step and I think it turned out great for what I used. It took me about 7 hours from start to finish and hes going to pay me $200 which I think is pretty fair for both parties. Hes out of town so he wont see it till next week. I told him I was just going to do the outside but I couldnt resist and tidied up the inside a bit. Didnt touch the seat other than vacuum and the headliner needed help but I didnt touch that either. Maybe in the future.

Products used

Wash
- Meguiars gold class shampoo
- Mothers foam wheel and tire cleaner
- Various brushes and mitt

Clayed with Meguiars clay kit

Polished with HF DA and 5" BP
- LC Orange flat pad with Ultimate Polish

Finished up with a coat of WG deep paint sealant and put some WG trim sealant on too.

On to some pics!

Sweet work. You've got the skills. Now you need to see where you can save some time as 7 hrs is a bit long for a one step. You gave him in creditable value for $200 but you have to start somewhere. Pricing also depends on location.

What's important is you both appreciated the results and they are stellar.

Good job! Here's a trick, when you wash the car, wash the Wheel wells also and when you apply the tire gel put some on the Wheel well also. It makes the tires look better and it only takes a few minutes to do the whole thing.

I think you friend will be very happy with you ;)

Thanks for the tip. I actually still have it so I'll spray some tire shine in the wells. I'm going to give it a quick wash before be picks it up saturday. I'm excited to see what he thinks.

Thanks all for the kind words.
