I have always used off the shelf products and have always been satisfied. Recently I decided to do a little research on car care products and found this forum, there is a whole new world I was never aware of lol.

I made the plunge and bought the Blackfire Wet-Ice Over Fire kit. Boy was I blown away. I have never used such an easy product in my life.

Here is a picture of my 04 Civic Si, car was clay bared with the Meguires kit, then layed down the Wet Diamond All Finish Paint protection, after a 24hr cure time, I then used the Midnight Sun Ivory Carnuba wax. This picture does not do it justice, only camera I have is the one on my phone.

Welcome! The first time is always a WOW moment to say the least. Do you find yourself looking out the window of your home more and more to get a look at the Civic? If so you are infected with the AGO virus and you will be checking this forum out a few times per day. :-)

Thanks guys, I finally broke down and bought me a Griots 6" orbital with a 5" flexible backing plate and a bunch of polishing pads. So this is only the start :P

Congrats! I agree pictures dont do you any justice. When you can, may I suggest adding to following then apply after wahing:

BLACKFIRE Deep Gloss Spray Sealant, spray wax, paint sealant spray (http://www.autogeek.net/blackfire-spray-sealant.html)

or

BLACKFIRE Midnight Sun Instant Detailer, quick detailer, detail spray (http://www.autogeek.net/blackfire-midnight-sun-instant-detailer.html)

I would second both these products for final wipedowns. I use the BF Polymer Spray after rinseless washes (BFRW of course) and the Midnight Sun Instant Detailer as a drying aid after a 2 bucket wash.

OP, you might consider picking up some Crystal Seal also. Put it on 12-24 hours after the WetDiamond. 2 coats 1 hour apart. You can still put the MS wax on top of the Crystal Seal, but I would wait another 24 hours after the Crystal Seal applications. You'll drool...and the gloss and beading will be sick!
