View Full Version : DLux vs. Opti Lens for plastic trim
I will be applying opti-coat 2.0 to my new Acura MDX this coming weekend. My understanding is that I should choose Opti Lens vs. OC for the trim pieces. Before I commit to the Opti Lens, I've been searching various forums for an opinion on DLux vs. Opti Lens for trim, but I can't find much in the way of direct comparison. Does anyone have any experience with comparisons between the two on plastic (chrome and black)?

I have no experience with Opti lens, but I have coated all the trim, rubber and plastic on my car with Dlux. It easily lasted a year, probably didnt need reapplication but I reapplied it anyway. I am a fan of Dlux for sure.

If it's a new car you can use the opti-coat on the trim no need to buy another product. Now if the trim was faded then something like Dlux would come In great hand
If it's a new car you can use the opti-coat on the trim
Yup, new car. So I can use opti-coat and don't need Opti-Lens for the trim?
