Help with Dr. Color Chip

So my dad drove my car yesterday. When he washed it and drying off he said it had some road rash in the front, and spots on the rear.

I am looking into getting a Dr. Color Chip kit. What is the difference between the Road Rash kit and the Squeegee kit? Is one easier to use or performs better?

from the looks of it, it look like the squeegee kit is easier to perform than the road rash one
