Well I tried fg400 and I'm in love for a single step polish. I've been using CG v32 36 and 38. If I want to get more menzerna products to work with what are the must have polishes? I was thinking just sf4000 and possibly trying the sealant.

All are great. Besides 400, I use a lot of PF2500. It cuts good for a 1 step polish. Although I wish they didn't change it a while ago. SIP is also real good. Can't go wrong with any of them. To me, they are the best, my opinion

SF4000, SIP are my go to.

Powerlock is a great traditional sealant.

4000, 4500 and ip are mine.

They are the bomb...no other polishes needed.

FG400, PF2500, and SF4000. With those 3 you can tackle pretty much any job.

:iagree: The only thing I use different and is (insignificant) is the SF4500 I do use their Top Inspection for removing the polish residue for prepping for the LSP I use their Power Lock Sealant and for friends that really do not take care of their car really well I use the Menzerna Carnauba too.

I think Menzerna is Top Notch!!

I have 4500 but haven't had to use it yet. 4000 finishes out perfectly for me. I also tried top inspection but prefer eraser.

FG400 for serious defects, followed by SF4000. For not so bad swirls, etc, SI1500 followed by SF4000. One steps, 2500.

At a minimum FG400 and SF4000 are a must. You can achieve quite a bit from just these two products by switching up your pad choice depending on what's needed.

Of course the more Menzerna on hand the merrier...

I :iagree: too, maybe plus power lock but sealant is everywhere.

For end user those 3 should be enough, you can use rotary and dual action, most aggressive pads to softest pads just fine.

FG400 for heavy hitting
PF2500 for medium
SF4000 for finishing

Powerlock for sealing

Mike says it perfectly - the more the better!

I started out with SF4500 for my soft, black paint. After that, I was hooked and pretty much bought the entire line. Currently, I have FG400, PF2500, SF4000, and SF4500.

2500 is designed to be the "one-step" product.

Sometimes you can finish 400 down and not need to follow up with 4000 or 4500, but it may vary.

There is no better finish on soft, black paint than 4500! I have told many friends on here about it and they have all reported back that it is better than they would have imagined. It is a great polish. I like pairing the polishes with Hybrid or HydroTech pads, with my preference being HydroTech since I use a PC. If you use a forced-rotation, check out the Smack method with Hybrid pads.

Happy detailing!
