So I'm thinking about getting a canopy for detailing in the sun which most of the time we are outside and there is no shade at times nor do I usually have access to a garage! I want one that is easy to set up by myself and that is big enough to fit a full size truck or suv under and maybe have so side walls that I could attach for shade on the side when the sun moves. Which brand and what size do you guys think I should get?

I've got the 10x10 ozark trail canopy from walmart for $89. Very easy to set up. I just fit my expedition under there today. I think for larger cars I'll have the legs sit on top of buckets or milk crates

Mine is an EZ-UP. Great canopy. Mine is just 10X10 and I have the walls as well. I originally bought it when I was racing motorcycles so the size didn't matter. The 10X10 is easy to set up without help. Takes just a couple of minutes.

The 10X10 is promoted in a lot of stores so it is relatively cheap. You might consider getting two for larger vehicles.

I think that would be a good route to take in getting two. Thank you for the advice!

Is 10×13 big enough for a full size truck or suv?

I don't think you'd be able to even fit a whole car in a 10x10. A little bit hangs outside of the shade all the time. Just double up

So get two 10×10's?

It's a generic one called "game time"

This is a case where you'll be satisfied with a cheaper one rather than spending twice on a name brand

But yes, two 10x10s would be perfect. That way you can set up the second one if you felt the need. Or even two 12x12s

This is what I have been recommending and I recommend it on the basis of ease of use and price. A quick look on Amazon shows EZ UP 10X10's for about $120/each. A 10X20 runs about $950!

12X12's would work too.

I have used cheaper canopies and when my team mates went to EZ UPs I understood the difference very quickly!
