Are pva sponges ok for use in polishing or waxing (lsp)?
Or are would they suck up too much of the wax or polish and make it more difficult?

I just read up on PVA sponges and they seem like a good product for activities that require absorption. What I suggest you do is to understand their intended use and relate those usages to the LSP stage. Go with your gut.

I just saw them the in the supermarket auto aisle, individually wrapped without any brand or instruction label and I don't know what is their intended use (for cleaning/drying or waxing/polishing). I just thought that I liked the firmness instead of the normal squishy yellow waxing sponges.
