So on our recent trip to Middle TN someone a couple vehicles in front of us hit a large piece of tire in the road and it flew over the vehicle in front of us and smacked our hood pretty hard and windshield. It left quite a bit of black rubber on our pearl white paint. The only paint products I brought with me were waterless wash and detail spray since I was not expecting a huge piece of rubber to hit the vehicle. I got 98% off with the waterless wash but there are a couple of spots I cannot get off even using elbow grease, was using the Cobra Gold towel with it. It doesnt feel like it scratched the paint as it is smooth.

Any tips or off the shelf products I can find at a local parts store that might get the rest out without damaging the paint?

Can post pics when the rain resides if need be.

Thanks,

J
