So finally got these off my camera and uploaded!
New 2015 Tahoe LTZ White Diamond Tricoat with summer Chevy OEM chrome sneakers, OEM chrome tip, and OEM chrome toe hooks.
I had the dealer detail it when I picked it up. I know a lot of you didn't think I should but my wife wanted it done when she picked it up. I spoke with the detail crew. They do the BMW's also for this dealership. They clay and wax all new cars. They hand wash with mitts (which looked very clean) and dried different surfaces with various towels. Again they deff seemed to have their crap together.
Anyway, got it home. Looked pretty good. Some leftover wax here and there and a few misses clay spots but all in all under diff lights and streetlights at night from every angle there wasn't anything really visibly bad.
Next day I washed with my usual suds. I use Microfiber mitts. I dry with Micro Guzzlers with Pinnacle detail spray as an aide. I them clayed the whole car (blackfire). I also then polished the truck (Pinnacle lotion). I was done at that point. Checked the car all stripped under street lights and my garage lights. No swirls I could tell. No marring so I guess they didn't mess up the paint.
Next day I sealed with Wolfgang paint sealant 3.0. Went on and off so nice! 12 hrs later I put a coat of Fuzion on. Again so nice and easy. Finished with a layer of Wolgang spray paint sealer onto of the Fuzion. Truck again sat for 12 hours.
Chrome rims were clayed here and there, but they came from the factory in a truck cause i took the truck with the standard 20's so the summer 22's were perfect. I waxed them with Detailor's Pro Rim Wax.
Tired were with Pinnacle Tire Gel. Love their tire gel.
Interior was perfect. Threw about 8 towels down and my old weather tech up front till the new ones come out!
Ordered a new Metro Vac N Blo cause my other one is now 15 years old and it was just time for a new one.
And that's my story. Here are some pics. Questions/comments? :)
