Wildfire Ash?

Woke up this morning and there was ash all over my car from a large brushfire in South Florida.

Can't wash it immediately, what are the effects of ash?

Ash can etch paint if there's moisture in the air or on the car. Wash it as soon as you an and often since the ash can remain in the air for some time. Find a garage or get a car cover. Best wishes!
