What is your favorite wheel protection product? I am looking for your favorite that provides shine, avoids brake dust cling, and cleans well with regular wash, e.g., easy to wash clean and brake dust is removed easily.

I have used my car sealant, such as 4*UPP or Ultima, with good results following a wash and clay.

I have seen some of the other products on AG but all seem to have a wide variety of opinion as to effectiveness.

Thanks for your help.

But if you are looking for a traditional sealant: BF Metal sealant.

Another vote for Opti-Coat.

When accomplished right, this is a one and done application.

I've had good experiences with DP wheel coating, easy to use, sheds dirt quickly & easily. Im going on 6 months and it still beads very well.

Opti-Coat.

+4. Nothing will beat opti-coat.

I compared it against Opti-coat.

Wow. Opticoats the one then, with some of the other wheel coatings like DP and pinnacle close behind.

So I take it that the use of harsh wheel cleaners like poor boys, Meguiars, or Wolfgang are only needed to prepare for/prior to coating and to avoid such routinely, e.g., use only regular wash?

Thanks.

CarPro HydrO2... nothing is quicker or easier to apply, and it works great on any surface. You'll have to reapply ever 1-2 months, but it literally takes 2 minutes to apply to all 4 wheels.
