Hello everyone.

I have been lingering here for the last few weeks as I just bought my wife a new 14 Honda CR-V (She demanded black:bash:)

Before we made it out of the dealer they installed the coveted swirl option and as we were inspecting the car, the salesman decided to "polish" it up with some aerosol glass cleaner. Well, as I was washing it tonight I noticed some light marks where he had sprayed, as if it etched the clear coat somehow. I attempted to take pics but they just don't show up.

I have in my arsenal a PC, megs m105 and 205, clay, m21 synthetic, hex logic pads in orange, white and black, and loads of waffle weave and borderless cotton towels. I thought to start with the m205 and assess it from there?

Any tips would be appreciated. Thanks in advance everyone!

Welcome to AGO! Yes, start with M205 and then assess from there. Borderless cotton towels - I wouldn't use those...

Zaino Store : Zaino Blonde Borderfree Towel: 3 pack (http://www.zainostore.com/mm5/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=Z&Product_Code=Z-BBFT-3&Category_Code=padstowels)

These are the ones I got, for wiping away polish. Yes/no?

Those are more than fine. M205/white pad, that should fix it up. M205 again with the black pad if it isn't popping enough for you. Sounds like you know the drill if the M205 isn't cutting it, M105/orange, then back to the 205.

Welcome! :xyxthumbs:

I like the idea of M205 on what may be relatively soft black paint. I might even be tempted to start with a black pad first just to make sure you remove only what's necessary but that may be just me...overly cautious and always try the least aggressive method first.

Good luck and would love to see your results.
