Hyper dressing on engine

Would it be safe to spray entire engine bay or just use on plastic covers?

spray it over the entire engine bay (don't saturate) on the fine mist setting of the sprayer. let it dry, then come back and wipe any leftover dressing in/around areas there is excess. you can also run the engine after for a few minutes as well...

I use a 4:1 ratio spray down the engine bay shut the hood and walk away. Later I come back and I'll make sure everything is covered
