I just got some hybrid pads, the yellow and blue. after using the yellow pad on a toyota 4 runner and just a few sopts on another car the pad seems to be comming apart on the edges.
just wondering if anyone else had this issue? i have previously been using the LC css pads
and didnt have this problem.

Are your using it with the flex and the proper backing plate i.e. the LC interchangeable BP system?

being that you use these pads let me ask, the yellow pad is for finishing and doesnt have much cut, is that correct? The reason i ask is because when they show these pads it is under
the blue which is light cutting and the bag the yellow one comes in says cutting on it.

Yellow LC hybrids are a light polishing pad and the blue ones are light cutting pads. I've found that 99% of the time I use only the orange, blue, and white pads. Those 3 cover pretty much all paint that I've worked on. In fact, I corrected a badly swirled black Cadillac hearse a few weeks ago with only 2 steps using Meg's MF pads and their MF correction compound and then finished off with LC blue hybrids and Menzerna SF4000.

This is all I use on the Flex and I have never had this issue.

Are you pulling the pad off the machine from the foam or Velcro backing?

Are you using one pad to do the entire vehicle?

The hybrid yellow pads are not durable at all. Odd one in the bunch.

You heated that pad up too much odds are. You should be using at least 3 on a car in my mind.
