A friend of mine sent my number to one of his friends to get his car detailed. The owner of the Scirocco ( Kieshen ) phoned me and we had made an appointment. Upon arrival I noticed that the car was extremely dirty on the outside and had some heavy swirl marks. As usual I took a few photos before I started working on the car.

I started with Menz fg400 on cutting pads , followed with Menz pf2500 on orange pads ( Polishing pad with a little more cutting power than my green polishing pads ) and then finally sealed it with Menz PL.

Here is a few reflection shots right after wiping the PL off.

After this I dressed all the trimmings , gave the car a final vacuum , cleaned all the glass and finally took the car out for the after pictures.

All in all , this was a fun detail. Kishen has 1 hot Scirocco and I am pretty sure that pics doesn't do his wheels alot of justice :hi: They look amazing in the flesh.

it wont ever get here due to vw not wanting the scirocco eating into the gti sales

Nice job!

That's one nice ride right there. We obviously don't get the new Scirocco here but its probably because it would bite into GTI and R sales if I had to guess.

Cool car indeed, looks sharp.

What did you use on the exhaust tips?

Is it any wonder why Volkswagen's sales in the USA are falling? The lack of a cool car like the Scirocco is one reason why.

I myself do not like the look. But this is my 3rd one I have detailed and they starting to grow on me now. Would I drive one ?? Negative ....

Pfffffft I would trade you this for 2 door GTi's and R's ANY day which we don't see in SA

Nice job!

Like mentioned we do not get the 2door Golf's in SA because VWCSA claims there is no market for 2doors in SA. Yet the 9n3 Polo 2 door and the Scirocco is extremely polular.

Cool car indeed, looks sharp.

What did you use on the exhaust tips?

Thank you. I used wetsanding paper with water , followed by hand polish with Menz PF2500

Awesome work Etienne.
