Zaino borderless blond

I just ordered some of these. And from a recommendation I also ordered pakshak silver surfer towels. My question is can you wash the zaino towels with microfiber towels. The zaino towels are supposed to be cotton. If I read instructions correctly your not supposed to wash microfiber with cotton

Why do people keep saying these towels are cotton? There is nothing in the description that says that. They are simply split-fiber microfiber towels.

The junkman said they're cotton. The guy seems pretty knowledgeable about this stuff. I'll call zaino tomorrow and find out. They're in New Jersey

What was the reason for picking these up?

Are you working with some soft paint?

I would wash them with microfiber detergent or tide. Wash them with any other microfiber towels.

As it was stated they are microfiber material.

You should talk with cardaddy aka Tony. He is very very knowledgable when it comes to MF towels.

I will say I have worked on some very very soft paints and my towels are fine.

I just looked at mine and the label says nothing about the material, but I can tell you they aren't cotton. There was a big stink about it when they came out, because Sal always said not to use microfiber towels, only cotton, and then he came out with his own MF towel. They aren't anything extraordinary, you can get something similar (and just as expensive) here (or elsewhere):

Frank its not soft to where you will get towel marks meaning that it will scratch when you use a towel on the surface.

When talking about hard and soft paint its means how is it going to correct.

Generally when talking about a soft paint it means that it can correct very easily but it will take a little bit of finesse to finish it down without hazing.

Hard paints are harder to remove defects and will finish down pretty easy in most cases.

I have worked on a few Hondas and I enjoyed them and they aren't hard to work on even the black Honda paint.

IMO there isn't a need to get the ZBB but thats up to you.

Its always best to do a test spot or a few as do and find out how the paint is reacting to what speed pad and products you are using.

If you use a quality towel you won't scratch the paint.

I always say let the paint tell you whats working ad what isn't.

The towels aren't scratching the paint. It's just the lint. It's strange. When I wipe after compound and polish, it grabs a little but no lint. When I wipe wax or sealant, lint covers just about the entire surface. I don't know. I'll have to show you sometime.

I know one thing for sure, they aren't worth $8.32 a piece, that's nuts! I bet their is like a 400% + mark up on those things. WOW!!!

And what that * means is that they were "Developed, processed, inspected, and packaged in the USA" which doesn't really sound like they were made in the USA...but whatever they do it meets the FTC definition for "Made in the USA", which is the important part, I guess.

What are the towels you have now? How are you taking care of them as far as washing and drying them?
