Very nice work there my friend, that vehicle was in rough shape. How was the clear coat? It's a 1998, just curious because I have a friend who has a 1997 Mercedes similar stile as this one and the clear coat is a pain to deal with...I though only the new Mercedez vehicles had the ceramic clear coat.

Boy that vehicle needed lots of work but that powergloss compound works great dosen't it :righton:

The color is silver and it looks incredable, nice depth oh and the pictures look great buddy...I like the last one you took with the flowe and the vehicle in the background....nice touch.

Great job, Pirex! That BEFORE exterior was nasty. Looks great now. Nice gloss to the finish. You're getting lots of jobs lately, since you returned from your detailing classes. Don't you let that Metabo cool down first before you start another job? :D

Nica: Gracias por el compañero de comentarios ;) Not a great shape on this poor thing, but it is lifted up now. To bad I can`t do anything with the rust. The car has rust everywere. To bad, because its a great car...but not a Audi :p The clear coat was hard, but SIP made it good! ;) The ceramic clear came in 2003 on mercedes, so this car doesent has it.

Thanks again, nice pictures is always good :awesome:

Truls:

I only used power gloss on places that the SIP was to weak. So i went from SIP to wax, not power gloss to wax ;) But I really think you could go from power gloss to wax, menzerna is great :D Thanks Truls :)

Alban61: Yeah, the car was nasty. I was happy that the interior was in a ok shape :D It has been some lately, but I will have some free days now, so the metabo gets to chill out with his friend PORTER CABEL :p

Looks good pirex! The shot with your metabo sitting on the paint makes me a little nervus. I really like detailing outside on a cloudy day.

Thanks Gary ;) Nothing to be nervus about, the metabo don`t make scrates, just make them go away :p You and me both ;)

Man nice work Pirex. That Mercedes was hideous. I can't believe anybody could let their expensive vehicle live in that condition . You made that Mercedes feel better now :D

Great job on that car!

I sympathize with you on detailing silver cars. For the owner they're great, as they conceal imperfections very well. But for that very same reason they make it difficult for a detailer to perfect.

Nice job.
