Wifey's car was fully corrected 1.5 years ago. Over the course of that time, swirls and marring have slowly crept back in. On top of that, we had to get the rear driver panel repainted due to an accident, so the swirls from the body shop have been there since late last summer.

I finally had time to do a 2nd correction on her.

Washed with CG Melon
Dried and clayed (CG clay pad) with CG V7
Flex, Menz Power Finish with White LC CCS pad (orange on rear driver panel only)
Flex, CG Blacklight with Gray LC CCS pad
PC, CG JetSeal
Total time invested during this detail session: 4.5 hours.

Wifey was very pleased…she's been nudging me all year to get her all cleaned up for her. Wasn't mother's day just over? :xyxthumbs:

Pics are unedited, combo of iPhone and Nikon D60.

Enjoy.

Very nice, really like that color blue. When the wife is happy, everyone is happy!:xyxthumbs:

I noticed in the sig you have a TSX. My sister just bought a new one (black) and wants me to work on it. Any tips? I was planning some M205 followed by PoorBoys Black Hole glaze then sealed. What do you think?

Yes I do. She's my daily driver. Tori sees the harsh elements way too much :(. Here's some pics from her spring detail this year.

As far as your approach, m205 is a finishing polish. Are there much swirls? You could try that with a white pad. Or go m105 with a white or gray pad. Remember that honda paint/clear is soft.

Beautiful car. I am not usually a fan of silver, but I really like that. The nice flat panels will make it easier.

I know 205 is polish. I have not seen it but do not want to put extensive time in it as my Taurus will be a 2-3 project. I'm thinking 205 with glaze should make here happy and perform a little better than a cleaner wax. My OCD may kick in and after a test spot my end up using the 105/205 combo. The reason I ask is I have heard jap paint is soft and maybe the 105 will be enough with the glaze.
