What do you guys find to be the best dressing to even up the engine department without making it to shiny? I use the blue tire dressing currently and was looking to tone it down a bit.

I use 303 and have been very satisfied. It is not too shiny and, in my experience, it does not attract dust. It does not hold up well when exposed to water; however, I have not found it to be a problem under the hood. It usually lasts a month or more. I wipe down under the hoods of my vehicles once a week anyway but do not have to retreat. I have CarPro Perl and I am interested in trying that under the hood at some point.

SONUS is very good. What is really stellar is megs hyper dressing at 4:1
SOWA. Spray it on a engine after cleaning. Does not even have to be dry. DON'T TOUCH IT! After it's dry, it leaves a perfect finish on the engine. And its water based. So totally safe under there.

I used the Wolfgang Trim Sealant and loved the look, no it didn't make it shine much but more important protected it, looks great :dblthumb2:
Now all I do is clean it using a rinse-less wash, so easy to maintain it.
