02 Volvo V70 Leather Seat Issues, HELP

My in-laws are having trouble with their leather seats. The say they are getting dark spots on their cream colored seats. Has anyone encountered this, or have seen the dye coming out of the seats. I have read volvos having issues, but no specifics. Will a good clean and condition, or coat prevent it. I will try to get pictures soon.

More than likely it could be dirt/dye transfer and a good cleaning or steam cleaning should do the trick though if it don't it could be that the "clear coat" on the leather is worn away and from it begin exposed it turned darker than the rest of the material it also may be sun damage if that area sees alot of sun rays

Thanks, it is hard for me to know, they really don't know what they are looking at. I didn't know if anyone has come across it. I'm gonna have them send me some pics to better diagnose. I did a Lexus LS430 a few years ago and the was heavily worn and had to redye them. I am hoping I dont have to do that again.
