Hi. Last Monday I bought a nice combo deal - a 2003 Travel Supreme RV plus it's dinghy (tow) vehicle (2004 Honda CR-V). Pic of RV below. Both are in excellent condition, especially the paint. But here's the rub...
I've never detailed a taller SUV or RV before. My current detailing process works for my cars (two bucket, foam cannon, and wool wash mitts), but washing the top of the CR-V would be a hassle (I'm short). And then we have the 12'8" tall, 41' long RV. Lots of acreage there.
So I'm thinking about getting a 20" boars hair wheel brush for the wheels:
Boar’s Hair Wheel Brush, wheel well brush, fender well brush (http://www.autogeek.net/20inbrmoorbo.html)
...and one of these for the CR-V top and the RV sides:
Big round brush:
Boar Hair Car Wash Brush, large car brush, auto wash brush, boar's hair bristle (http://www.autogeek.net/montana-original-boars-hair-round-wash-brush.html)
Or maybe one of these straight brushes:
- Angled:
Montana Original Tri-Angle Boar’s Hair Car Wash Brush is a soft, gentle car wash brush for cars, trucks, SUVs, and boats. Auto wash brush boar hair (http://www.autogeek.net/trbohawabr.html)
Montana Original Boar’s Hair Car Wash Brush PLUS is a soft, gentle car wash brush for cars, trucks, SUVs, and boats. Auto wash brush boar hair brush (http://www.autogeek.net/bohawabrpl.html)
- Straight:
Montana Original 10 inch Boar’s Hair Brush is a soft, gentle car wash brush for cars, trucks, SUVs, and boats. Auto wash brush boar hair brush (http://www.autogeek.net/prbohabr.html)
I don't mind spending the extra money if a brush would be faster and easier to use, and give great results.
Which brush would you folks recommend? Any other washing tools?
Thanks,
Dan.
