I was able to set up two cars for a Rinseless Wash. I'm not sure what to charge. I was wondering what price you charge and what does it include? I will be doing the exterior only at a local business so the doors will be locked and there will not be any interior cleaning

Small car?
Crossover/Suv?
Large truck?

Thanks
Marc

The same as a regular wash. The wash doesn't change just the technique. :xyxthumbs:

On a regular wash I charge 45 for cars and 65 for larger vehicles but thats due to my market. Or u could try 30.00 per hour

Thanks for the info. What are the details of a $45 wash and is the $45 wash on a small car like a Toyota Corolla?

I charge 45 for all cars no matter the size and it includes the wash, spray wax and wheels, tires and windows.

And the 65 is for quad cab trucks and suv unless its a full size van I'd charge maybe 75

I don't like to talk pricing. As every area & economy is different. So I suggest figuring out what you want to make per hour and what your economy will handle. Then go from there.

Thanks for the info. I really need to raise my prices. I can wash the car, spray wax, windows, clean wheels, dress the bumpers and tires in about 45 minutes. If I charged $45 this would be great. This way my total time from start to finish including loading and unloading would be an hour (45 an hour) This would be a good price

You also need to get there and back. Don't forget that in your math. I don't do just basic washes because of that. Yes I can charge say 50$ or so, but if it takes me 30 mins to go there, 30 to come back, 20 mins to setup and pack and 45 minutes to an hour to do the actual work... that's 2.25 hours of my time and when you calculate the price of gas and products used I am making way less than 20$ per hour. I just don't see the interest in all that time spent for that amount of cash.

You can do what ever you want but from what I have seen detailers usually ask for a minimum number of cars when doing basic washes. Usually 3. Otherwise making a more complete package that will cost at least 100$ is an other option, that is the one I use.

If it's a new customer that has a swirled up paint job, I charge ~$35. I can get it done in about 25 minutes

only if there within a certain distance or if there multiple cars

Thanks for the info, That is a nice price for a rinseless. I have 3 cars at the Post Office that I will be doing.

$35 x 3 = $105

I think 3 cars would take about 2:30 min which looks to be around $45 an hour which is a nice payday, all before lunch

try and get them on a maintenance plan for easy money :D

Upsell to a wash and wax.. or an interior overhaul
