I have used the Klasse Twins on a couple cars in the past and while the results was very good, I believe that because the colors were white and pearl respectively, I never developed an appreciation of what this combo could achieve.

So yesterday I had a chance to detail my fathers truck with what I would consider hammered paint. Swirls, rids, holograms, scratches, you name it. (Forgive me as I made the number one mistake of being a good forum member..... I didn't take before pictures.) While the paint needed a good 3-step, I simply did not have time, so I went for the twins.

After a two bucket wash with Dawn dish soap and ONR, and a quick clay, I armed my PC with a white Lake Country CCS pad and went to town with the Klasse all-in-one. After topping with one coat of Klasse SG, I pulled the truck out of the garage and was blown away by how much correction I got out of such a simple process. Haze on the headlights was cleared up, swirls and holograms disappeared, etc. It will really keep this 'ole girl looking good until I can do a proper correction.

They do work great. The red on the lightning looks great. Add another coat of KSG and be amazed at how much better it looks after just 1 coat.

Wow, that came out great! One of these years I'm going to have to pull my Klasse bottles out again.

Klasse twins were developed in Germany quite some time ago and can hold their own against most products today. Outstanding glow!! :props:

Thanks a lot for sharing, now I need to give those twins a try.

Kind regards.

The truck looks great. How long did it take you to do it ? Did you also apply the KSG with a DA ?

Excuse my ignorance (I'm new to all these products), but "Klasse Twins" refers to what exactly? Trying to figure out what to use on Tuxedo Black Explorer.

I've been using it for about 9 years with great results. Not only will it make the vehicle look good, but it will last six months. I love the durability.

I'm surprised it removed swirls and holograms since AOI has no abrasives. In my past experience, if the surface wasn't corrected, it almost makes the defects look worse because the gloss seems to highlight the surface underneath.

Detailing the entire truck took the better part of six hours, and i left out a number of steps in the review. Buffing and sealing took about 3 hours.

I expect that the cut of the pad had a lot to do with it, and do not get me wrong, the paint still needs a true correction to remove most defects. I wasn't really expecting any correction what-so-ever, so maybe I set the bar low on this one. But as far as the very fine swirls from washing and the buffer trails, a good number of them disappeared.

I am going to buy this truck from my father within the next year, so at that time I'll break out the WG Uber compound or WG TSR and give myself a full two days with the paint for a full restoration. I'll do my first proper writeup and documentation at that time.
