When you use a spray wax for a drying aid such as aqua wax, do you spray directly on the paint or on your drying towel... or both?

To neutralize the water dropplets on the paintwork its best to spray directly onto the paint though you could spray it onto the microfiber towel

I prefer spraying on the paint to allow chemistry to take place before wiping it off, but either method works.

I always spray the paint. Doing this also helps with water spots.

I apply to paint usually but depending on the product i will sometimes spray it on a MF towel first (Poor Boys carnauba based detail spray comes to mind...goes on pretty heavy even from the towel). When i spray directly on paint i work it in and try to get as much even coverage before turning to a fresh, dry side of the towel folds to finish to a shine.

Try both methods with whatever you are using to see what you like.

The paint. I use prima wax as you dry.

Just to continue the majority, I spray on the paint with AW. Wipe with one WW then buff with a dry WW.

I spray directly on the paint while the car is semi wet. It makes for a wonderful effect as the droplets of water flatten out once AW hits it

I use AMMO Hydrate as instructed. I wring out a wet towel and so spray a mist of Hydrate on the towel. I follow up with a dry towel. I use Microfiber Madness Dry Me Crazy.

Wipe with one WW then buff with a dry WW.

I tried this yesterday and it worked well for me.
