Its time to break the bikes out of the winter cave and shine them up. Up till now I have always just used Megs wax that can be bought just about anywhere. Currently looking at the Pinnacle-Wolfgang kit on the site but I have read on various post that the Souveran wax is for darker paints. The one bike is pure black so no worry their but I am looking for recommendations on the Candy Max Orange on this bike. Will this kit with the Wolfgang's Sealant plus Souveran be a good choice or is there another wax I should use on the Candy Orange to make it pop more? Thanks for input.

One of my favorite combos on black and on metallic is CG blacklight topped with collinite 845.

I'm not an wax/sealant junkie but Mother's Pure Carnauba Paste, I feel, is about as good as it gets for an OTC wax. Longevity isn't bad for a 'nauba either.

If you are looking mail order (which seems to be) then the subject is a Very Open Book.

You're going to get so many recommendations :-)

I have a beige/gold metallic paint and both Colli 845 & DP Max Wax have worked well for me.

Bob & Wheelz recommendations are frequently-hailed as very good. I hear good things about CG's Pete's 53 for metallics as well.

I'd be getting a Dodo Juice Orange Crush panel pot for a bike like that. Probably last you 50 times.

Vote for Menzerna Color Lock here. VERY easy to apply by hand or machine, excellent gloss and relatively long protection (seems to last 3-4 weeks for me).

Lol not one of our answers are the same and this poor guy is probably now more confused then ever hahaha.

To OP: Asking what wax is the best is almost like asking us who was the best president or what our favorite beverage is. We all have our favorites. Personally though you cant go wrong with any of the waxes listed.

CG Lava
Mez CL
Collinite
CG Petes 53
P21S

In a side by side comparison it would be hard to tell the difference between the wax listed. Hope that helps.
