I have a brand new PSI washer (Generac professional) its 2200 PSI @ 2.8 GPM or you can adjust it to 3100 @ 2.5 GPM.

My problem is when i use the 2200 PSI setting the MTM stalls the PSI washer instantly.

When I use the 3100 PSI setting it stalls in about 1 min.

I am assuming that the PSI cant handle the back pressure from the MTM. Has anyone else ran in to this before?

I have a Generac 3100 @ 2.7. The MTM has never stalled. I'm assuming your washer runs fine without the MTM. Have you used any other attachments with your washer?

Is the problem your water pressure? or maybe a really long hose? maybe the problem is lack of water from the main line? Just wondering as I type lol

Lack of sufficient water flow can cause pressure washers to stall. Flow reduces can be attaching to the PW using a coiled or kinked cord. Too many flow reduces -outside spigot, all connections, etc.

Is this an electric washer?

If it is every electric washer has a pressure switch that shuts off the motor when you release the handle valve. As soon as you do the line pressure trips the off switch. If it is taking a long time for it to shut off you either have a slow leak, or a very flexible or long hose that is ballooning when you release the handle. It takes a little while for the line pressure to reach the point where the shut off pressure switch activates.

Probably a faulty product that you got....exchange it for a better one I use it on my Simpson (Honda engine) 3000 PSI @2.4 GPM without a problem

I have a 3100 psi gas powered pressure washer. Will the foam cannon AG carries work with it? The one AG carries is rated at 2600 psi. If not, which foam cannon do you recommend?
