Hey Geeks. It's been a while since I've posted. Been really busy with the family. They come first! Anyways... I have a question about how everyone deals with the stubborn carpet when they're vacuuming. I'm referring to the carpet that doesn't wanna release anything at all. Very rough and just, ugly! Lol. I have a really decent vacuum. It's a Craftsman. 5 Hp. Very dependable and strong. Any suggestions...

Replacing the vacuum isn't a desired "move"...

I've found loosening the junk up with a stiff brush helps.

Carpet brush on a DA pulls everything up, and out.

Ok. Great. I have been using a brush to loosen it all up and it seemed to be helping. I wasn't sure if there was a better method. Thanks for the replies.

Dry brush first, and like eagle fan said, a brush on a DA is awesome. I also air purge with compressed air.
