I am going to be applying CQUK to my daughter's car tomorrow but was wondering what to do with the door pillars? They are a hard, glossy plastic.

Is it safe to use CQUK on them or should I use something else?

Absolutely! CQUK can be applied to headlights, taillights, wheels, glossy plastics, etc.

Thanks! I'll try it out on the door pillars and headlights. The grill is made of the same type plastic as the door pillars, so will apply it to the grill too.

I ordered DLUX to apply to the textured plastic, but it didn't come in. It is on back order.

Would DLUX be better to apply to the pillars or stick with the CQUK?

I use CQ on all surfaces except for untreated or textured plastics or rubberized trim. For those I use either DLUX or WG exterior trim sealant. CQ also applies over matte or gloss vinyl as well and somehow doesn't add any gloss to the matte vinyl graphics even though it darkens and adds gloss to paint.

Thanks again. I will use the CQUK on the hard, glossy plastic and when my DLUX arrives (probably in a week or two) I will use it on the textured plastic and rubberized trim as you suggest.
