:) i have tried several products but found none that does what it says. simple green so far has been my favorite. i try to cover what looks to be electrical and open air intakes, using a low pressure (household faucet) with a fire dept. type nozzle for the different spray patterns, and a long reach soft brush. still looking for better products all the time which is the reason i joined this web-site!

I like to use DP Exterior Surface Cleaner in one of our foam guns. I cover the electronics (alternator, battery, MSD ignition, etc) with plastic bags, rinse everything, soak all areas with the Gilmour foam gun....then I let it sit for a bit and settle in. After that, I hose everything down and rinse it real good. I then start the engine, let it idle for a bit, dry out the excess water and dress all plastic/rubber.

APC diluted 3:1, soak, scrub, rinse. repeat if necessary. I havent found dirt or grime that has stood up to that. Nevr_Dull on the metal, and 303 on the plastic/rubber.
