West Palm is the closest, about 40 mins away, Orlando is about 2 hours away, Fort Lauderdale is about 1:45 mins.

Easier and quicker from West Palm than Lauderdale or Orlando.Much smaller and compact airport.If you have to take mutable flights and the layovers are time consuming than Lauderdale is your next bet.So Pat is correct with Palm Beach but direct flights with the carrier of your choosing may not have direct flights.

Last year business got in the way as I was stuck in corporate meetings in Tampa, FL. So close but so far away. For DF2015 I had to call the hotel but reservations are still available with the group discount.

Looking forward to being in my old stomping grounds and attending my first DF.

Can someone fill me in a bit on the event? I have never been and I want to invite my father along but he has a skin condition and cannot be out in the sun very long.

I will be there regardless, but I thought it would be nice to spend some time with dad. Yep, the same dad that drives Vette's, Porsche's, 65 mustang's, 69' Shelby GT350 ect. ect. I thought he'd get a kick out of the detail fest along with the car show.
