Removing glass scratches

I notice that my brothers Mustang has some white spots on his windshield and some scratches in his passenger glass. I am wondering what product and steps will any of you recommend me to use in order to do this correction. I am not sure if I just should use a polishing compound and a green hex-logic pad to try to correct it.

I've used carpro ceriglass and rayon pad to remove scratches that worked great. Only problem that I ran into is that after finishing the glass, wax did not work on the glass for some reason.

Glass is too hard to remove below surface contaminants with Foam pads and Compound.

There are specific products that will work to some degree.

I have used the CarPro Rayon/Ceriglass combination with some success.

It is time consuming, labor intensive and will not remove major defects such as pitting or deep scratches

You could get a glass polish and polishing pad or you could use a combo like m105/m205 after shaving and claying the glass but if your have never shaved glass don't do it

M105 and certainly M205 will do absolutely nothing to remove scratches from auto glass.

Either can be used to remove above surface contaminants following cleaning and claying the glass.

As others have stated, no combination of foam/MF pad and polish/compound is going to remove scratches on glass. It will however take off any waterspots or anything that is adhered to the glass.

What you want is CarPro CeriGlass and CarPro Rayon Glass Pads. This is very time consuming and with a little elbow grease and some patience you can get out most of the scratches that plague windshields. I did this recently and was ecstatic with the results.

Cerri Glass, a GG6, CarPro Glass Pads, and a squirt bottle with DA water is what you need. I did a few DIY threads here.
