Anyone ever use this for trim? I tried black wow and it didn't work as well as I wanted it to. Im going to plasti dip the fender trim but don't think it will work well on the door handles. Mainly because I cant get behind them and it will start to peal off after a little while from opening the door. thoughts?

Back in the old days some people used dyes and said they were a "permanent" solution (which I guess means a few years). Nobody really seems to talk about dyes anymore since the restorers like Gtechnic C4 and CarPro DLux came out. There are a couple of dyes sold here, Solution Finish and the Tuf Shine trim product...but neither of those seemed to get great reviews.

I would try DLUX first and see where that gets you, obviously you have to clean the piece real well any route you go.

What kind of car and what trim? What was your issue with BWP? I use it very often now and have had much success with it. I think a lot has to do with proper prep and application. Maybe I can help you through the process.

As far as another option goes, DLUX is holding up really well for me.

No issue with BW. I used it many times as well so it's not that, it just didn't look ad good as I wanted and I seen something on plastic dyes so I figure I ask.
