Has anyone compared the 2 in terms of longevity? I have tried the Deep Gloss Sealant on my R8 and I think it lasts maybe about 3 months. The slickness would be almost gone after I wash the car using a shampoo. It's not a daily driver so I normally just use a detailing spray like the Ultima.

Maybe before I apply the Wolfgang Deep Gloss Sealant I should wipe the car down using Griots Garage Pre-Wax Cleaner (http://www.autogeek.net/griots-pre-wax-cleaner.html) or CarPro Eraser Intense Oil&Polish Cleanser (http://autogeek.commerce-search.net/redirect?url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.autogeek.net%2Fcarpr o-eraser-ipa.html) even though there was no polishing and just washing?

I am getting 6 months out of Wolfgang Deep Gloss Paint Sealant on a black daily driver.

Make sure you shake the heck out of it.

What do you use prior the application of the Wolfgang deep gloss and after washing/claying?

Some may find this hard to believe. I am working on 16+ months with Klasse Sealant glaze. This is not my daily driver. Its garaged when not driven. I have about 5000+ miles on with this sealant. I have tried numerous times to strip it with CG citrus red and/or wash n gloss with no success. Still beads like day one.

I wonder how long a sealant will last if completely unmolested...garaged, rarely driven, etceteras.

Possibly years?

I have 2 coats of klasse on my car. I use sonus acrylic spritz or acrylic glanz as maintenance products. Klasse is still sheeting and beading strong after 7 months.

2 coats of AIO or Glaze?

Does anyone know if Klasse AIO will remove other sealants since it's considered a "cleaner/wax"?

1 coat of AIO after polishing and 2 coats of KSG.

Do you polish first, then AIO, then sealant ?
I didn't think you would need to polish if using AIO.

Klasse AIO has no correcting ability. The product does have some cleaners which will get rid of an old LSP, but if you have swirls or other defects to correct Klasse AIO isn't going to do it for you. In fact, in my experience, putting AIO over the defects actually makes them stand out more. The only way to get rid of the defects is an abrasive polish.

This is why.

I didn't know that. Thanks for the tip. I will follow your advice next time.
