I just finished painting my bike with House of Pilot tangelo pearl and UC35 clear coat. Being not to great at painting, I got some orange peel in the clear coat that I want to buff out. Would you guys recommend using a rotary on a bike? There are little to no flat surfaces, and I was thinking doing it by hand might be best. If so, what products would you recommend after 2000 grit wet sanding? All I have right now is Meguiars mirror glace.

Here is a shot of what I am working with.

Thanks!

Picked up some ultimate compound and 3000 grit sand paper. I tried it with just 1500 then 2000 grit, and that worked pretty well. I just bought an autozone foam piece for applying it. Left some swirl marks after the ultimate. Should I be trying something else?

Sounds like you just need to follow up the compound with a polish, like Meguiars Ultimate Polish, meguiars car polish, meguiars polishes, mcguire's (http://www.autogeek.net/meguiars-ultimate-polish.html)

What sort of applicator pad should I use with that?

Oh and the mirror glaze I have is M9, swirl remover. Is this going to be much different than the Ultimate Polish?
