I got this car an hour after the Tesla left on Saturday. The game plan was to do a severe decontamination on it and clean up all the salt on the floor mat. That's it. Quick and easy. When does quick and easy ever turn out to be that way?!?

So, there are no before shots of this Cherokee as I did not intend on doing anything other than what I mentioned to it. The decontamination was not easy on this car. After the wash, I used IronX paste and then sprayed it down with Wolf's decontamination spray. It was liquefying some, but not all the spots. I then broke out my CarPro clay block and clayed the car while still soapy with the IronX paste. That got 99% of them although it didn't help my block any.

After rinsing it off, the paint was not sheeting at all. It had been 2 years since it was coated so I called the customer to see if he was interested in a new coating I was carrying...he was. Therefore, this 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee became my first Americoat customer. The coating was preceded with DG Squeaky Clean applied via white B/S pad and my Flex 3401. That really made the paint jump and the coating was the icing on the cake. It is a very thick coating that applies a little differently than CQF or OG. I use the same suede mf application technique however. The paint and glass and wheels were coated with AC. It is a very glossy, very smooth finish. I really like it so far! The windshield got OG glass coating (2 coats) and the trim got the beta DG trim coating.

Here's how she looked afterward:

Have you had an opportunity to use any
other: Americana Car Care products?

{I wonder if AGO will be carrying any of them,
any time soon. (Just me thinking aloud.)}

Not on a car, no. I did try Ameridepth on a piano keyboard cover. I want to try it with a machine on paint. I will do so in the next few weeks at the latest. Keep an eye on my S & S's. No idea on the 2nd part...

Beautiful Richy!
Thanks very much. My next vehicle will be a Jeep Grand Cherokee diesel in white. I really like them.

This clearly illustrates what a few good products, a lot of skill and know-how, and the right amount of time can accomplish.......and some good weather never hurts!

Awesome work Richy!! :props:

Nice work Richy! I have two (2) americoat jobs coming up, an 08 BMW M3 next weekend and a Honda CRV the following. Really goes on nice, I just coated the new wheels for my wife's tahoe the other night.

As always Richy.....flawless work! ( Yep did it again)

It seams that now coatings are poping up out of the woodwork.
Have you used DG's new offering? If so any thoughts.

You have mentioned the beta trim sealant by DG many times which has me waiting......waiting.....any word on a possible final product?

Now that I'm testing in the new coating world....looks like Americoat has become a bleep on the radar (so to speak)

Your show and shines are always worthy of viewing so please keep them coming!

This new coating is making me want to know more. How does one become an authorized installer, if you don't mind me asking?

Tim, that's funny! Thanks so much! I have DG's one on order. I actually plan on testing it on my baby grand paino which is a very high gloss finish.
As far as the trim coating goes, we are still testing different versions.
