LED Worklights

I was wondering if some of you guys that do a lot of paint corrections could guide me to some nice LED worklights.

I currently am using my Halogen 500 watt and 1000 watt worklights.

The 3 panel LED at Home Depot is nice. Large center panel with 2 smaller wing panels that move back and forth to move light in different directions. 48 LED's and 2500 lumens. Many people like the single LED light too which is 1720 lumens. I have the 3 panel and love it. No heat from it either so it's ideal for summer weather.

Got this LED light stand from Menards. Works great but I wish it was a little brighter. I think once you go LED you wont go back to Halogens. I sure didn't.

ebay, only a few companies in China making them. You can get them very cheap on ebay, even cheaper if you get a group together and buy a case of them. I actually buy most of my 12v lights for our equipment from the factories and you can negotiate some good deals providing you need a lot of lights and can wait it little bit for shipping.


I like using a headlight for some correction work though. This one works great, H602w from Zebralight. Neutral 4400k light is nice and its super floody so you can see a large area up close without a blinding hot spot.

They are always backordered on Zebras site but you can get them on ebay.

I have a 3 PNL LED LIGHT W/TRIPOD from doitbest. It works well and you can see it sitting in my garage in this picture on the top right

It is really helpful to find the defects and the side lights have a huge amount of adjustment. Cost online was about $125.
