A long time since I posted up some work.

A nicely modified A4 in primarily for a decontamination and a engine bay cleaning. I threw in a light interior clean with a little extra on top, haha.

During my consultation with the owner he pointed out the on going iron embedded in the paint. He said it hadn't been decontaminated in over a year. He hasn't had the time to take as much care as he would wish. Knowing this we decided to use a sealant with great durability, allowing the car to be protected during extended cleaning intervals.

No pictures of interior work or engine bay. Interior was a wipe down with Meguiar's QID + apc on shoe scuffs and a through steering wheel cleaning. The perforated leather of the steering wheel was plugged up with gunk.

Engine bay was nothing special apc, degreaser, and some 303.

Upon bringing her in to base. Perks of the job right!:dblthumb2:

Decontamination in process. First hit with Ironx paste, left to dwell, and then reactivated with Dodo juice Ferrous Dueller Iron Remover. Once rinsed, I used fine grade speedy prep towel and meguiar's mild clay.

Now wearing Menzerna Power lock, a high durability sealant. Owner wanted something real durable because his car sits outside 24/7. It just so happens power lock is also a great looking sealant for lighter colored vehicles.

Nice work on the car! Couldn't the cheap Turbo emblem "accidentally" fall off? I see those on Kia Sephia and old Civics with fartcans... :(

:( It rained a few days later. At least I know it was protected.

Haha! I agree it would be a cleaner look. It was my first time driving a manual turbo car, and it was great! I loved the low end torque, I put her in top gear and was cruising at 45-50mph and the thing didn't lug one bit.

The car looks great!
Typical detailer, I wish I could've done more. I know, I know, give the customer what they want, and more importantly what they are paying for! :dblthumb2:

Nice work Ben!
Thanks! The last visit, he mentioned how he loved the water behavior while washing it. Also, he next wants to get rid of the swirls!
