Do you think the 530 gsm is too bulky for drying paint after a wash? Feed back please. :buffing:

IMO no cause its deep enough to pick up any contamination that you may have missed while damping your drying pressure but if you want switch to a waffle weave towel like the Cobra guzzler

I would save those for wax, sealant removal personally.

So what would you use for drying when washing your ride? Feed back please

I like Microfiber Madness's Dry Me Crazy towels for drying. They are very heavy.

My bad. I use the Master Blaster to dry. If anything needs to be touched up, I use detail spray and waffle weave. Now, if I were only using towels, I'd just use waffle weave.

I am in your camp on this one; except I use the Master Blaster Sidekick. Similar in concept to the Master Blaste. Blow dry the car and use a good waffle weave towel to dry the rest or over-spots. The Waffle Weave I use is a Korean made waffle weave (I believe 25 x 36 it's big), however, AGO sells similar waffle weaves.

As for a QD I use Blackfire Wet Diamond Polymer Spray or Optimum QD or Optimum Quick Wax. Depends on which mood I am for any of those 3. I use a 460 GM Blue Angora 16 x 16 MF towel (made in Korea) for the QD. Anything real soft so less chances of scratching the paint.

Those are the only 2 towels I have in my arsenal. I have about 100 or 125 Blue angoras and about 15 Waffle weaves just for that purpose mentioned above. I have other MF towels but do not want to BORE anyone here!!
