These are the wheels on my daily driver and I'm wondering how to remove the dark coating that started peeling before I bought the car. Also I would like to know what is the best products and methods to care for these wheels I'm new to detailing and would appreciate the tips and advisehttp://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/03/25/he6yguby.jpghttp://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/03/25/e7edetaz.jpg

If it was me I would use a car soap ,and water or a wheel cleaner like chemical guys diablo wheel gel then gently clay the wheels followed by useing a product like meguiars m205 or menzerna sf4000 I just see typical dirt, and water spots, and if they are peeling just replace them cause they are plastic

I have used P21S polishing soap on my plastic chrome wheels. It did a good job of cleaning brake dust off of them.

Don't shoot me. I've used TW chrome polish on chrome clad wheels to removing staining like you have....washed them Sonax Full effect which did nothing, but then tried this out of curiosity and worked well.

The wheels are dirty... weather has been horrible for washing in Indiana. The darker areas are actually the correct color of the wheels painted on from factory
