Nice!

The 59 Impala is one of my favorite rides of all time. Gotta love the wings!

Art Morrison chassis, new GM FI crate motor, Bowler transmission, and an all new interior.

We've owned the car for 40 years, and it's been redone more times than I can remember. But, it's always been on the original frame, including 1959 suspension. The Sedan Delivery was in the Biscayne line.

We updated it to Air Ride some years back, but let's face it, at 55 years of age, it could use some modern technology.

Troy and his crew do work beyond compare. Even without his dad, Jack, who passed away last week, there's no doubt in our mind it'll be done on time, and perfect.

Look for it on the Hot Rod Power Tour, which starts June 7 in Charlotte, and ends in the Dells, Wisconsin.

After all, it's a driver. A cool driver nonetheless, but it's made to be driven.

As it should be! That'd make a GREAT detailing rig!

Happy trails,

The stop before is Crown Po9nt/Merrillville IN, and the stop after is Betterdorf IA.

I almost guarantee we'll have a side trip to Troy's place. That'll be June 12.

I'll be in the ZR1, unless I can talk GM into letting me borrow a preproduction 2015 Z06. I'm trying, and calling in favors.

Party on.
