so my son just got a new black Q50.
my intention was to put a sealant on it because his last car he didnt wash and wax unless i twisted his arm. lol. when i got the car it looks like they already waxed it at the dealer.
i dont want to mess around with it too much. I have klasse seallant can i put it on top of the wax? or just top it with another wax? i have pinnacle paste wax. I know u can top a sealant with a wax but dont know if u can top a wax with a sealant

The stuff from the dealer is probably hiding all kinds of defects.

If you top a wax with a sealant it will only be a waste cause the sealant will bond to the wax not to paint as a result the sealant will come off after a few weeks or months therefore just top it with another wax for now

Wash, clay, then go use a paint cleaner or light polish on each panel. Once prepped, apply a clear sealant for the easiest protection....

Wipe On and Walk Away

Black Label Diamond Paint Coating (http://www.autogeek.net/pinnacle-paint-coating.html)
CarPro Reload (http://www.autogeek.net/cquartz-reload-spray.html)
Wolfgang Deep Gloss Liquid Seal (http://www.autogeek.net/spray-on-paint-sealant.html)
Ultima Paint Guard Plus (http://www.autogeek.net/ultima-paint-guard-plus.html)
Prima Hydro Sealant (http://www.autogeek.net/prima-hydro-seal.html)
Optimum Opti-Seal (http://www.autogeek.net/optimum-opti-seal.html)

I hope not. I dont want to regret not telling them to not prep the car, i have read that so many times here.

If the dealer put anything on then its probably masking some defects, I know from working at dealerships.
