Drove 2300 miles or so to Detail Fest, after putting Midnight Sun over BFWD. I'm pretty impressed with the BF combo. While its not the newest product - its extremely good. It looks great & feels slick. But, it's been raining, car is dirty and beading is quite good - as is hydrophobicity.

This combo exceeded my expectations & I like it better than the $300 + tub of Swissvax Best of Show I was using previously. I think it looks better, beads better, is slicker, and seems more durable.

DLux on wiper arms, wipers, and cowl. Installed last summer - beads like day 1.

All of the beading on the pictured surfaces looks good...
Just goes to show the affects, that using good car-care products, will have! :dblthumb2:

Glad you had a safe trip to Detail Fest and back.

Thats my favorite combo, if you have blackICE, try that next time instead of MS! Nice job Stephen, did you have fun at DF?

Thanks Bob. I think you should go next year and teach a class with all your knowledge!

Yes, DF was great. I picked up BI there as well. It smells like shoes polish. Can't wait to try BI.

Stopped at Kennedy Space Center at Cape Canaveral as well. Thought about how much work it would be to polish & wax a rocket. Wonder if Black Ice would hold up in outer space?

Car looks good. I was considering getting the BFWD and midnight sun for the "wet ice over fire" for a couple of clients with dark cars. Would you recommend it over something like menz power lock which is my go to sealant?

I've used this combo on a red porsche and black tahoe, and the combo produced stunning results.....obviously there was polishing prior, but still, the Blackfire look is really different from the rest, has such a crazy "shimmer" miles deep. Plus your work is better than my work, so you'll probably make it look better!

Nice pictures of the water beading, and those rockets look pretty cool too

I know Todd raves about the Wet Ice Over Fire combo, and I'm glad that you agree. I have a sample of Midnight Sun coming in courtesy of addysdaddy, so I'm excited to check it out and see what it's all about for myself.

Thanks for sharing! :dblthumb2:

BlackFire (http://www.autogeek.net/blackfire-car-care.html) is one of those product lines that a one brand user will be tickled pink with! It's rare finding a product line that does it all but BlackFire is one that does and it does it extremely well....

IMHO the combo looks stunning. Its hard to say if its the wax, the sealant, or both. I think the combo looks better than PL alone.
