I have a coat of wolfs glass coating on a car and wanted to try the tech g1, i was planning on using g4 polish, will that remove any remnants of the wolfs or is there another step that needs to be done?

Yes, I would guess G4 would remove Wolf's Glass Guard. I have used CarPro CeriGlass to remove Wolf's Glass Guard with no problems.

Detailer’s Pro Series High Performance Glass Restorer (http://www.autogeek.net/dp515.html) works well when applied with a white or orange pad and a dual action polisher....:props:

IMO:
You'll want a cerium-oxide product, in order to deep clean a coating from auto glass.

A product such as:
CarPro Ceriglass Kit, glass polish, water spot remover (http://www.autogeek.net/carpro-ceriglass-kit.html)

G4 will remove it. Follow it with a wet towel to remove the residue, and then I spray the glass down with IPA to remove anything that may remain. Then you're good to coat.
