Our family vehicle is a white Ford Excursion that is mostly kept in the garage. For the roof, I am looking for the longest lasting protection and don't care much about the look because it is never seen.
For the rest of the truck, I am going to do a 3 step with Megs ultimate compound, polish and wax.
Suggestions for anything better than Megs wax for this application?

The easier answer is a coating. If you don't feel comfortable with that, I would say Collinite 845. I would still strongly suggest clay barring the roof, at minimum to ensure that any sealant/wax adheres how it should.

Hmm, have not researched a coating.

I would suggest a paint coating or a sealant, also like stated previously clay bar that roof

After some searching, I think for now, I want to try Permanon.
Obviously, I am not going to use Megs Ultimate Wax before Permanon but I am not sure if I can use the Polish and then Permanon or do I have to compound, then, clean with a APC and then Permanon?
Thanks
Matt
