I used Opti-Coat 2.0 on several pieces of black hard plastic trim on my car. The car was new and I prepped properly. Mostly it worked perfectly well, but there are two spots that turned hazy white. Possibly over-application although I don't believe that to be the case.

I have tried Meguiars #39 plastic/vinyl cleaner and undiluted APC using a hard nylon bristle brush. These had absolutely no effect after several vigorous attempts.

Any ideas?

Just one bump to see if anyone has any ideas?

Opti-Coat can only be removed by abrasion. I would use a compound to remove the Opti-Coat and then clean. Applyva dressing and good to go.

How long ago did you apply it? Did it turn "hazy white" immediately or shortly after application? How much time was involved?
