Represent the 757 well my friend, as my schedule has fleshed out that I will not be able to make it to this event... :awman::cry::dig:

But I will be spending time with my family and friends at the beach in Corolla, NC, so all is not lost for the weekend. :) :coolgleam:

I will have to hook up with Dave and all another time..

Shaun, if you end up being able to make it up, let's coordinate before you go so that I can send up the DP Rinseless Wash for 'Pudge.

Will keep in touch go let you know if I can make it up there. Talked to my brother today and he is down for going. Just gotta figure out accommodations if my family isn't able to accommodate.

I wonder if Drew (SON1C) has a Rupes? I know there were a few Rupes polishers floating around at those Northern Virginia Detailing meets.

Drew!!! If you can hear me!!! Bring your Rupes if you have one!! Please!!

That would be awesome. I'm looking to buy my next machine and I'm stuck between those. It would be nice to try them both out before I buy one. I just hope I can make the event. I'm 50/50 right now.

I've tried both, I own 2 Flex 3401s and I see no reason to purchase a Rupes. I don't see enough gain to warrant the cost of picking one up. If it wasn't so limited in pad size options, I might think differently. I'll pass on the Rupes.

I have a big time jones for the Flex now, after hearing all the talk and watching the videos on AG. But I'm still going to wait until after the event to buy a DA. I realize that between the DA, backing plates, and foam pads, it's a huge investment.

if only you weren't 2 hours away, 2 hours on unknown road's is a bit far for my show car lol

I will either let Dalton bring my Rupes 15 and mini or I will bring them along with me when I come. I might just let Dalton bring them, as I am not sure how early I can get there on Sunday coming back from DC.

Idea: Name tags! Everyone puts their forum name and real name on them.

Thoughts? :D

You laugh now. Really makes things easier at work functions when I meet people from other sites for the first time.

I have a bunch of name tags that I was going to bring anyway. I was thinking the same thing as you, forum name and real name.

Just a thought, with all of the MF thread discussions going on. What say we bring what ever we have so we can sample, or even just get an idea of what eachother use/like and why. Iv been waiting to place an order but Id hate to order somewhat blindly.

I like the MF idea.... I could use some more info on different ones.

As for the name tags? I think it will be easy figuring out who I am :D

I only have the cobra gold jrs and rolled edge blue ones from AG but I definitely wouldn't mind sampling a few others.
