In this image, the guy on the left is doing something I thought one should not do, which is machine polish a panel edge. Comments?

In photo above, buffing with the pad at that angle, the gentleman on the left is asking for trouble as he'll quickly burn the paint on the sharp corner.

Edge buffing can be done but care must be exercised.
