Yes that's me. I believe I still have the highest post count on that forum not that post count matters.
I brought up from scratch,
The MeguiarsOnline.com discussion forum
The Thursday Night Open Garage classes everyone calls TNOGs. They actually started out on Wednesdays till I moved them to Thursdays.
The Saturday Detailing 101 Classes
The Saturday Detaailing 102 Advamced Classes
The Extreme Makeover Classes
The Road Show Classes
Meguiar's has always taught classes and provided eductation what I did was start their Irvine classes and this is key... coordinated through discussion forums.
Did a bunch of other small landmark accomplishments while I was there but the above is the big list. I always post under my real full name on every forum I belong to, so the Mike Phillips on MOL is me.

After making so many deliveries to the open garage i was intrigued and ended up signing up and attending one of the classes. That was the day that started it all. I learned what clay was as long as what its used for and a few other things. After years of trial and error as well as learning new things and new products and growing my interest to the auto detailing world i am now in the process of turning what i know into an auto detialing business. Had i not attended one of those classes and found out so much more about detailing i would probably still be washing my cars/trucks with dish soap and a hand towel lol. I believe i owe you a thank you for that day Mike because if i never went i probably wouldnt be where i am today with my knowledge in detailing. You opened that door for me and again i thank you.
I went on their forum looking for the date of the class i attended. I couldnt find it. But what i did find was you took a picture of my truck and posted it on the site while i was dropping off a pizza lol.

Haha thanks! It was a turd. Even though it was that big its demise was a curb... I hit a curb while pulling out of a jack in the box drive through and ripped the idler arm out of the frame and snapped my tie rod... Ive had many cars and trucks since then. One of which was a 03 F350 king ranch 4 door long bed with the 6.0L now that was the biggest turd. It was really nice but every week it was something. I had that for about 5 months and sold it, got a 09 hemi ram, and i havent been happier lol.
Here is a pic of the king ranch
